Using Meditation to Guide your Life’s Journey

Meditation is one powerful practice that helps us to face ourselves, to release what is false, let go, and to connect with who we truly are.


Meditation helps us to make room for love, compassion, information, and the energy we need to make lasting changes in ourselves and in our relationships with others and our world.

Meditation supports us in our spiritual growth. Also, by making lasting changes, our material lives align more with our higher purpose. 

The four parts of the Heart of the Matter meditation (open, calm, think, act) are designed for depth and lasting change.

  • By going within and honestly facing our internal state – the limitations of our beliefs, patterns, conditions, and attachments.

  • By feeling the depth of our emotions, desires, and longings.

  • By opening to spiritual energy, presence, and support.

  • By letting go.


You can make meditation a foundation for your life

  • Put time for meditation into your calendar. Not an option – a necessity.

  • Use meditation to work on the challenges, projects, and visions you have for your life.

  • Think deeply and openly about what is important to you and to those around you.

  • Allow yourself to be guided by a Higher Power, Spirit, God… Keep letting go of control, thinking you know better, and emotional build-up….

  • Find the humility it takes to ask for help, to call out, to cry out in pain or desperation or passion or sincerity. To pray in a way that is real for you. And listen.

  • Follow through with action on what you receive in meditation.

  • One step at a time – thoughtfully, with care, with open ears, an open mind, and an open heart – let lasting change happen.

  • Come to love the transformational potency of meditation.
