How to claim Zoom host
While it's not mandatory to assume the role of host during your support call, doing so can provide you with full access to host settings, which can be valuable if needed. For instance, you may need to change a participant's name from a phone number to their actual name. The Management team has designated you all as hosts using your primary email addresses. However, if this method fails, here are steps you can follow to claim host privileges.
How to check if you are the Zoom host
In the meeting controls, click Participants.
If you are NOT the Zoom host, you will be listed as shown in image 1 below.
If you ARE the Zoom host, you will be listed as shown in image 2 below.
Here is how to claim host control
(for Windows and Mac)
Join a meeting if you have not already.
In the meeting controls, click Participants. See image 1 below.
Click Claim Host.
In the Host Key box, enter the Host Key number: 877297
Click Claim Host.
You will now be listed as the host in the participants list. As shown in image 2 below.

Note: Only Support Call Leaders and The Freedom Adventure management have access to this report.
